Here is the completed yellow hat--with just one crocheted flower. Hat is child sized. Picture is miserable, but my camera batteries ran out and I had to improvise with my phone's camera. At least you can get the idea.
Hat is a basic knit in the round ribbed brim beanie done on size 6 needles. The flower is this one done with a scrap of variegated WW cotton yarn and a size F hook. Worked up nicely--I recommend the flower pattern.

Work in Progress
Current WIP--yellow cotton hat to donate to Halos of Hope. I hope to add a few flowers to it if all goes well!
Recently donated knit items
Below is a photo of a few knit items that I recently donated to a pet-themed event at a local library. Two of the items are cat/pet mats (approx. 15" x 19") that I loom knit. The items on the fair right are a pair of knit picture cloths--one is a paw print and the other is a dog. Both were needle knit will 100% cotton yarn.
The patterns for the paw print cloth and for the dog cloth can be found on the Knitting Knonsense site and they are free!
